Two children have died in a car accident at the Central Market, while a blind man believed to be in his 40s is said to be in a critical condition.

A Hyundai commercial vehicle with registration number AE 1855- 12 driven by a driver’s mate reportedly failed its brakes while making a U-turn and in the process crashed the two children.

An eyewitness Nana Gyimah, who spoke to Abusua FM’s correspondent, Osei Kwadwo that the children died on the spot while their father who was with them sustained severe injuries.

He is currently in critical condition at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), where the bodies of the children have also been kept.
