Adele has beaten One Direction to be crowned the richest British celebrity under 30, ending the boyband's three-year reign.

The All I Ask hitmaker is reported to have a more than doubled her estimated worth with £92 million, compared to the £38.1 million figure that saw her come in at fourth place on last year's Heat list of the 30 Richest British stars under 30.

The magazine's annual list has Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe in second place, with an estimated worth of £74 million. Singer Ed Sheeran is a new entry to the list in third place, with an estimated fortune of £45 million.

The members of One Direction now feature on the list in their solo capacity whereas previously they were featured as a band, and Zayn Malik is currently the most wealthy member of the band in fourth position behind Sheeran with £38 million.

His former band mate Harry Styles is in fifth position (£37 million), while the remaining three members are all new entries with Liam Payne in seventh position (£34 million), Niall Horan in the eighth slot (£34 million) and Louis Tomlinson is ninth (£33 million).

Harry Potter star Rupert Grint rounds off the top 10 in the tenth position with an estimated worth of £29.3 million, while Emma Watson ranks at number six with £35.7 million.

This is the sixth year the celebrity magazine has released the list, which is compiled by a number of industry experts. The panel looks at endorsement deals, television contracts, movie profits and record sales to determine the wealth of each celebrity.

Heat editor Suzy Cox said: "Adele has been unstoppable this year with her album release and stadium tour, so it comes as no shock that she has come out on top.

"Despite their break-up, the One Direction boys have managed to stay in the top ten but it will be interesting to see where they all stand next year after the release of their solo material."

This year the list also includes the International Top Five celebrities under 30, which unsurprisingly has American singer Taylor Swift in the top spot with an estimated £192 million fortune.

A new addition is also the Billion Dollar Babies list, which Heat says "takes a look at the tots who were born with a platinum spoon in their mouths".

According to their calculations, Princess Charlotte is reportedly worth £3.2 billion to the UK economy and boosts the sales of baby brands more than any other famous baby.

Selena Gomez has been named the top of this year's Insta-preneurs list after being deemed the celebrity who 'cashes in' on her Instagram posts thanks to brand endorsement.

The full list of the 30 Richest Celebrities under 30 appears in this week's Heat, on sale from November 8th.
