Aduana coach Yussif Abubakar has allayed doubts over his team's chances of qualifying to the next stage of the Champions League, saying he is going to give ES Setif "a match" in the second leg.
Coach yussif has vowed to deploy of a "different strategy" to ensure the Algerians do not get things easy in their second leg encounter in Algiers.
Aduana defeated EF Setif on Wednesdays by a goal to nil, a scoreline pundits believe can easily be overturned by the Algerians.
But Yussif said the Algerians adopted a defensive minded strategy,"which worked for them" at the Agyemang Badu park.
He believes his team's failure to utilize their chances accounted for the unconvincing 1-0 scoreline.
"They said it that they are going to give us a tough match and they'v given us a tough match",he told ghanaguardian.com in a post match interview.
"I will never give up, I still have confidence till the whole thing is over,we will also give them a match.
"They played too much defensive minded, relying on counter attack, doing a lot of delaying tactics, may be that is their strategy and that is how they have been playing."
According to Coach Yussif the Algerians are a very good side in terms of the "defensive minded play" but said he is going to the drawing board to map up a strategy to tame them in the second league.
The North Africans Clubs are well noted for relying on crude strategy to eliminate their opponents, but the Aduana Coach is hopeful his boys can survive thei Algerian's scare.
He could not assure the fans that Aduana will qualify, but says the team has what it takes to eliminate the Algerians with theie one goal advantage.
"We are not also going there to play defensive minded and delay tactics. We are going to deploy a different strategy to also give them a match.
"We couldn't score more than the number of goals we needed to score but we are going to prepare for them.
"If they think they have what it takes to eliminate us, we also have what it takes to eliminate them
Aduana is the only Ghanaian club in the continental competition, after Kotoko were eliminated in the preliminaries by CARA of Congo.
The Dormaa-based side will be playing as guest of ES Setif in the second leg of the Champions league match in a week time in Algiers
