Operations Manager of Aduana Stars George Gyau has comfirmed that the team has begun preparations ahead of their CAF Champions League second leg fixture against Libyan side Al Tahaddy.
The Fire Boys commenced their continental campaign on Sunday on a disappointing note after losing to Al Tahaddy by a goal to nil courtesy of an early minute strike by Mahmoud Ali.
The team arrived in Ghana from Egypt last night but have already geared up for training this morning with an eye on the reverse fixture which will be played in Dormaa in a fortnight.
Mr. Gyau assured that Aduana are not going to be complacent despite playing at home, he also disclosed that despite the delay in the league the club will organize warm up friendlies to make sure the team is in top shape for the return leg.
”We arrived last night but today ,training has already began. The team is working very hard ahead of the return leg
We won't be complacent, because when you do that it affect the team psychologically.
Despite the delay in our league we have put measures in place to ensure we win this leg at home
We are ready to make the people of Dormaa and Ghana proud” he concluded
