Al Ahly has arranged a loan deal for Ghanaian forward Samuel Oppong to WE Sports Club (Telecom Egypt) for the remainder of the season.

The move aims to provide Oppong, who recently penned a four-and-a-half-year contract with Al Ahly, with an opportunity to further his development at a club competing in a lower tier.

Oppong emerged as one of five Ghanaian prospects who underwent trials at Al Ahly, impressing club stalwart Walid Suleiman and the youth team's head sufficiently to secure a transfer to the club.

However, rather than immediately integrating into the first team, Oppong will gain valuable experience and regular playing time during his loan spell with WE Sports Club (Telecom Egypt).

This decision reflects Al Ahly's dedication to nurturing young talent and affording promising players the chance to flourish.

The club believes that Oppong's growth will be enhanced by consistent game time at a lower level, preparing him for a successful return to Al Ahly, where he will be better equipped to compete at the highest echelons of football.
