Black Queens Coach Nora Häuptle has announced a squad of 33 players for the upcoming training camp in Accra, ahead of their international friendly against Japan.

The list features notable inclusions such as Princess Marfo of Bay FC, Luton FC defender Bridget Adu, and former FIFA U-17 World Cup Golden Boot winner Mukarama Abdulai.

Additionally, Wasila Diwura Soale, Nina Norshie, Mavis Owusu, Adama Alhassan, and Victoria Osei have also received call-ups.

For Japan, a powerhouse in women’s football and a qualified team for the Olympic Games in Paris, the match against Ghana is part of their build-up to the Games.

The highly anticipated friendly is set to take place at the Kanazawa Go Go Curry Stadium in Tokyo on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
