Aduana Stars went out of the CAF Champions League at the first round  stage as ES Setif  punished an error-ridden display in the Stade du 8 Mai 1945.

Following a 1-0 win in the first leg at Dormaa, the Dorma lads fell behind after just 27 minutes as midfielder Mourad Benayad outjumped the defense men to grab the first for the host.

Defender Mohamed Khoutir Ziti connected  Zakaria Haddouche's conner kick  with a stunnning strike to got the second goal for the Algerians  on the 47th minutes in the first half.

Aduana were warming themselves into the game at the beginning of the second half, knowing very a well a consolation goal can still secure them qualification,  but their hopes were dealt a big blow when defender Abdelkader Bedrane  slotted home the third goal on the 60th minutes.

The Ghanaian Champions had no answer to the Algerians attack, finding it difficult to keep possession.

Coach Yussif Abubakar intoduced experience strikere Yahaya Mohammed into the game but he presence was hardly felt.

Goalkeeper Joseph Addo gifted the Algerians the fourth goal when    fumbled Chemseddine Nessakh's tame shot in extra time, allowing Abdelhakim Amokrane to make it 4 for Setif who hence qualifies on 4:1 aggregate.

Aduana, meanwhile, drop to take part in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off rounds, playing against the 16 winners of the Confederation Cup first round.

The draw for the play-off round will be held on 21 March 2018.
