In a recent international friendly between Ghana and Mexico at the Bank of America Stadium in the USA, Celta Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo sustained a fresh injury. The 28-year-old was included in the starting lineup by coach Chris Hughton for the Black Stars.

However, Aidoo had to be substituted after just 28 minutes of play due to the injury. He was replaced by versatile player Alidu Seidu from Clermont FL.

Hirving Lozano scored the first goal in the 57th minute, and Antuna Romero added the second goal in the 72nd minute.

Ghana started the match with a 3-back formation, featuring Stephan Ambrosius, Nicholas Opoku, and Joseph Aidoo in defense.

Thomas Partey and Elisha Owusu partnered in midfield, with Antoine Semenyo leading the attack and Mohammed Kudus and Joseph Painstil on the wings. Kingsley Schindler and Gideon Mensah played as wingbacks.

Ghana had a bright start to the game, with Joseph Painstil delivering a cross in the 14th minute that eluded everyone and went out of play.

However, Ghana was forced to make a change in the 27th minute when Joseph Aidoo was replaced by Alidu Seidu due to a suspected ligament injury.

Despite having moments of control in the match, Ghana lacked the firepower upfront to score.
