Executive Secretary of the Association of Ghana Savings and Loans has asked customers of the defunct 23 financial hoses to trust the receivership process which will oversee the process of repaying customers their locked up funds with various banks.

The bank of Ghana after the demise of these banks set up a receiver who will look into the books of these banks and also receive the request of clients of these banks in order to process their funds.

According the executive secretary customers must remain calm and be supportive of the receivership process so that it will come to a perfect conclusion.

“We want to assure the customers that a new day has come we have identified the wrongs we know where we fell they should trust as one more time for a better tomorrow

Now our relationship with the regulator has changed and the same thing the work of the regulator they have changed a lot if things.

The receivership process let’s all support it and bring it to a perfect completion. We are going to help the receiver do his work and we are hoping anybody that comes to our banking halls to do business as far as the savings and loans is concerned.” he stressed.
