Former Hearts of Oak star Daniel Afriyie Barnieh showcased his talent in FC Zurich's recent 2-2 draw against Lausanne in the Swiss top-flight.

Barnieh, who came on as a substitute in the second half, made a significant impact by assisting in both of FC Zurich's goals.

The visitors, Lausanne, took an early lead with goals from Trae Coyle and Rares Ilie in the first half.

However, FC Zurich staged a comeback in the second half, initiated by Switzerland international Bledian Krasniqi, who reduced the deficit with an early goal after the break, with an assist from the Ghanaian forward Barnieh.

Barnieh continued to impress as he provided another crucial assist, this time to Rodrigo Conceicao, who scored in the 52nd minute, leveling the scores at 2-2.

Barnieh's performance highlights his growing influence in the FC Zurich team, contributing two goals and three assists in as many games this season.

FC Zurich's draw against Lausanne maintains their position in eighth place in the Swiss Super League table, while Lausanne remains in fourth place.

Barnieh's displays underscore his potential to make a significant impact in European football.
