Daniel Opare made a return to action for his Belgium Jupiler Pro League side RFC Seraing in their 1-0 home loss to KAS Eupen on Friday evening.

The defender was returning from a minor injury sustained on Tuesday evening in their 1-0 defeat to KV Mechelen in the Belgium Cup.

Opare, 32, was handed a place in the starting lineup but his presence could not prevent his side from another defeat as he lasted the entire duration of the game.

The right-back is a journeyman and has played for the likes of Real Madrid, RC Lens, FC Augsburg, Standard Leige, FC Porto, Besiktas among several others.

He has made 14 appearances for RFC Seraing in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League this campaign.

Opare has a contract with RFC Seraing until the summer of 2023.
