The Family of the late Dancehall diva, Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, better known as Ebony Reigns have changed the venue and the date for the final funeral rites of the artiste.

The earlier date and venue which were communicated to the public to hold at the Independence square on March 17 has been changed by the family due to unforeseen circumstances.

According to the family, securing the Independence Square for the funeral rites of the late singer became difficult hence settling for the Forecourt of the State House on March 24 to hold the final funeral rites.

Ebony Reigns died in a gory accident on the Kumasi – Sunyani road on 8th February, 2018 when she was returning from Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region.

The Jeep vehicle in which she was travelling, crashed into a VIP bus leading to her death with two other occupants (Franky Kuri and Francis Astu), a young lady and a Soldier who’s said to be her bodyguard.

Meanwhile, the final funeral rites for her friend, Francisca Maame Konadu Nkansah popularly called Franky Kuri was held on March 3.
