Executive Director of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu, has received the Outstanding Public Sector Leadership Award for his transformative leadership at the Environmental Protection Agency.

The award was conferred on him during the Ghana CEO Excellence Summit held last week at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.

Dr. Kwabena Kokofu was also recognized by the 'CEO Network Ghana for Value-Chain Driven CEO Connections and Opportunities '.

The EPA boss is currently amongst high-profile personalities leading the country's green economy revolution under the V20 Climate Vulnerability Forum.

He was recently elected the West African Bureau Coordinator of AfriMAB at the 7th General Assembly of the African Network of UNESCO Biosphere Reserves held in Kigali, Rwanda.

Dr. Kwabena Kokofu is also credited with introducing several reforms in the operations of the EPA which has helped in changing the perception of the public about the organization.

He is also leading a massive crusade for environmental safety in Ghana
