President of Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi has refuted claims from his critics that the standards of Ghana football has declined drastically.

Nyantakyi argued Ghana Football is not in limbo but rather suffers a blurred pecerption in the eyes of many.

He admitted the Ghana Premier League is not the best but also insisted it’s not the worst in Africa.

Speaking to Accra based radio station Vision 1 FM, He said, “I don't agree that Ghana Football is declining.

“If you say Ghana football is declining let's define indices for measurement and take a look at the levels where Ghana Football is declining.

“People just have in their mind that Ghana football is declining but what shows that Ghana Football is declining. Let's start the debate and I can agree with you on certain matters and others no”

Kwasi Nyantakyi also reiterated that he will step down when his current tenure as Ghana FA boss expires in 2019.
