The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has levied a fine of GHS10,000 on Real Tamale United FC (RTU) following incidents of misconduct during their Ghana Premier League Day 13 match against Medeama SC at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.

RTU FC faced charges for two offenses: failing to ensure the safety of the Match Commissioner, as outlined in section 16(1)(c) of the GFA Disciplinary Code, 2019, and inappropriate behavior by their supporters, as per section 16(2)(c) of the same code.

The club admitted guilt to the charges and requested mitigation during the proceedings.

As a consequence of their actions, the GFA Disciplinary Committee imposed a fine on the club and issued a ban on RTU FC from hosting their next three home matches at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.

Additionally, RTU FC received a stern warning that any further misconduct would result in more severe sanctions.

The decision underscores the GFA's commitment to upholding discipline and ensuring the safety and integrity of football matches within the Ghana Premier League.
