The Ghana Football Association will face off with Accra Great Olympics in court today, Tuesday February 13 over a court injunction placed on the commencement of the Ghana Premier League by the Accra club.

Ghana Football Association (GFA) proposed the launch of the league on Monday February 5, 2018 but they were served with a court injunction filed by relegated Accra Great Olympics in protest of Bechem United fielding an unqualified player against them last season.

The aggrieved Ghana Premier League club delivered an injunction letter to the Ghana Football Association Secretary General last Monday in protest against the decision of the GFA’s Disciplinary committee which threw out Great Olympics’ complaints.

Olympics finished 15th last season on a 16-club log, with 36 points, four points below safety but a ruling in their favour will save them from the drop.
