In a bid to enhance grassroots football development, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will offer free media training to Media Officers from all District Football Associations (DFAs) in the coming months.

President Kurt E.S. Okraku, who also chairs the National Juvenile Committee, revealed this initiative after the inaugural meeting of the Committee on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

The media training aims to empower DFA Media Officers to effectively communicate information about their activities. Additionally, it will enable them to guide Media Officers of Colts clubs within their districts.

The training program will cover various subject areas, including social media marketing, public speaking, website development and management, video production, and media relations.

This initiative underscores the GFA's ongoing commitment to grassroots football development, complementing previous interventions aimed at nurturing talent and promoting football at the grassroots level.
