New Swansea City attacker Andre Ayew's father and agent Abedi Pele played a key part in the club record deal that saw the Ghanaian move back to the Welsh side from West Ham.

The Ghana football legend brokered a 18m pounds deal between the two Premier League clubs on deadline that reunites Andre and Jordan at the Liberty stadium, they played together at Olympique Marseille during their formative years.

The 28 year old signed a three-and-half-year contract after passing a medical.

Abedi flew to London last week to help sort out his son's future and was instrumental in drafting and ironing out final details of the contract.
