Ghanaian football sensation Nasiru Moro has officially joined Swedish club Degerfors IF during the winter transfer window, marking a significant move in his career.

The former Accra Lions star has penned a lucrative two-year contract with the prestigious Swedish Allsvenskan side following his departure from Orebro.

Moro, renowned for his versatility as both a midfielder and defender, wasted no time integrating himself into his new squad, immediately joining his teammates for rigorous training sessions in preparation for the upcoming season.

Reflecting on his latest career move, Moro expressed his unwavering commitment to delivering stellar performances, setting high standards not only for himself but also for his team. "I am a player who always expects good performances. Partly from myself, but also from the team," he affirmed.

Known for his lightning-fast pace and formidable presence in duels, Moro shared insights into his playing style, stating, "I am a quick player, when I run, I am very fast and I am strong in duels and I am aggressive as well."

The 27-year-old football prodigy made his mark in Sweden back in 2021 when he initially joined Orebro SK.

However, his tenure with the club came to an end in December 2023, paving the way for his latest venture with Degerfors IF.

Moro's journey in professional football began in his native Ghana with Accra Lions before embarking on an international odyssey that led him to NK Gorica in Croatia.

His stint with the Croatian club saw him transition from a loanee to a permanent fixture, further solidifying his reputation as a formidable force on the field.
