Spokesperson for the members of aggrieved Menzgold customers association, Frederick Forson says that government must act swiftly in order to add them retrieve their locked up cash with gold dealership firm Menzgold.

This follows the press conference which was done by Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1) yesterday pleading with the government to unfreeze his and menzgold’s bank accounts.

The embattled Menzgold CEO also asked the government of Ghana to help him through diplomatic and

legal mean retrieve his $39 million cash stacked up with a Dubai based company. Though NAM1 has not given his beleaguered customers any definite timelines to settle them their debts, spokesperson for the aggrieved customers says the ball is now in the court of the government to kotow to his demand s so they can retrieve their locked up long overdue cash.

“Government must respond to the request of NAM1 to find a solution even though we expected timelines for payment but for the practical reasons that his accounts has been frozen and his assets seized and the rest of it.

It is very proper that government responds to his plea so that he can pay us our monies” he pleaded.
