Libyan topflight side Olympic Azzaweya Club has secured the loan signing of Hafiz Wontah Konkoni from Young Africans SC.

The 25-year-old forward is set to bolster the ranks of the Blue-Whites for a duration of six months, with no provision for a permanent transfer outlined in the agreement.

Konkoni, who made the switch to Tanzanian champions Young Africans SC from Bechem United at the onset of the season, began brightly but has encountered challenges in securing regular playing time in recent fixtures.

While he has contributed with one goal and one assist in the CAF Champions League and several league appearances, establishing himself as a consistent starter has proved elusive.

His move to Olympic Azzaweya Club presents an opportunity for Konkoni to reignite his form and make a significant impact in a new environment.

Olympic Azzaweya Club, currently positioned 9th in Group B of the Libyan Premier League with ten points after ten matches, will look to leverage Konkoni's talents as they strive for improved performances and results in the remainder of the season.
