Hearts of Oak Coach Frank Nutall is unfazed by the prospect of losing some of his key players ahead of the start of the new season.

The quartet, which includes captain Thomas Abbey, Kwame Kizito, Leonard Tawiah and Vincent Atinga, parted ways with the club after failing to reach an agreement on contract renewal last month and are expected to sign for clubs local and abroad.

The Scottish manager however remains adamant this will affect his team much. He believes the situation is not as bad as it sounds and that the club will survive.

“I don’t think this is a big deal as people make it sound. The players know what they want and which direction they want their careers to take in the coming season, so they decided to leave. Its normal everywhere” Nuttall told FootballMadeInGhana.com.

“I am aware of the fact that the club engaged most, if not all of them in the bid to renew their respective contracts, but the players, like I said know what they want and decided not to sign. This should rather be seen as a positive activity since we had a very good season last year and most of them improved tremendously” he said.
