Kwame Opare Addo, the Communication Director of Hearts of Oak, has shed light on a discrepancy between the club's resources and the results on the field, stressing the need for better outcomes.

Despite facing a tough season marked by inconsistent performances, Addo acknowledged some improvement in the second round compared to the first.

However, he admitted that the current results fall short of the club's potential.

“In the second round, we haven't performed as well as we would have liked, but considering our journey from pre-season and the first round, there's been some progress,” Addo stated in an interview with StarTimes.

Throughout the season, the Phobians have encountered difficulties, lingering in the bottom half of the table for an extended period.

Currently sitting 13th in the league standings with 35 points, the team is a mere three points clear of the relegation zone.

Despite the uphill battle, Addo conveyed the club's resolve to enhance performance and achieve more favorable results, leveraging the quality of players at their disposal.

Hearts of Oak's upcoming challenge awaits in a fixture against Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday, presenting an opportunity to reverse their fortunes and secure a positive outcome.
