Accra Hearts of Oak have released an outstanding amount of GHC 230,000.00 to the technical team and the players of the team.

The club resumed preparations towards the new season at the Legon Ajax Park on Monday witn only three senior players from the preseason.

Speaking to very close sources, the press discovered that some players refused to report to the training grounds in protest of the unpaid salaries.

Responding to  the suspected agitation from the players, the Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV ordered the payment immediately on Tuesday morning.

This action implies that that the assistant coach Henry Wellington Lamptey is likely to get a full house today on the arrival of Frank Elliot Nuttal.

Meanwhile Hearts will face Kotoko in the return leg of the Ghana @60 celebrations at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday December 24.
