Hearts of Oak midfielder Salifu Ibrahim says that he is delighted to have returned to action after a long injury layoff.

The former Techiman City midfielder has been out with a niggling injury for a long while but made the Hearts lineup on Saturday in their 0-0 drawn game against Karela United.

It was a game that failed to produce any goals with perhaps the clearest chance falling to Karela United striker Evans  Adomako who was sent through on goal but fluffed his big chance.

Salifu Ibrahim was named man of the match after an impressive display for the phobians and claims that it's good to be back after a long absence.

According to the midfielder, they had a good game but not the desired results, and hope they will get to the level required of them by their coach.

"it's good to be back after a long injury. We had a good game but not the result we wanted. Gradually, we shall get to the level Slavko Matic is demanding of us. We are focused on our next game.
