Ghanaian international Jeffrey Schlupp suffered another injury setback in Crystal Palace 2-0 win over Huddesfield Town on Saturday.

Schclupp who had just returned from a long injury layoff was substituted by Johan Cabaye in the 23rd minute after appearing to have damaged his ankle.

Strikes from James Tomkins and Luka Milivojevic ensured that the Eagles grabbed all three points at the Kirklees Stadium.

Speaking after the game, Palace manager Roy Hodgson expressed his worry over the Ghanaian’s latest injury and fears it could rule him out for a long period.

“we’re more concerned about Jeffrey Schlupp coming off because he’s rolled his ankle and you always worry with those that he’s damaged some ligaments but we won’t know until he’s had the scan. I’m hoping that him and Wilf will recover.”
