Ghana striker Jordan Ayew lasted the entire duration of the game as Tottenham grabbed a 2-0 victory over Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday.

Jordan and his teammates looked a pale shadow of the spirited side that fought back to a dramatic late win against Watford few days ago.

Goals from Fernando Llorente and Dele Alli condemned new Swansea boss, Carlos Carvalhal to his his first taste of defeat since taking over last week.

The defeat means the Swans are back to the bottom of the Premier League after 22 games with just 16 points.

Their next game is an FA Cup fixture on Saturday, 6January, away to Championship side, Wolves .
