Joseph Paintsil expressed his excitement after making his MLS debut for LA Galaxy in their season opener against Inter Miami.

The Ghanaian international featured for 86 minutes before being substituted, as LA Galaxy secured a draw against Inter Miami.

Despite Inter Miami's star-studded lineup, LA Galaxy managed to hold their own, with the hosts taking the lead through Dejan Joveljic.

However, a late goal from Messi ensured that the points were shared between the two teams.

"Massive love and appreciation to the fans for the support on my MLS debut. Looking forward to more of this," Paintsil wrote on social media following the game.

Paintsil, who joined LA Galaxy in February from KRC Genk in Belgium on a four-year deal as a Designated Player, aims to play a pivotal role in leading the team back to the playoffs after missing out in the 2023 edition.

LA Galaxy, the most decorated club in the MLS with five championship titles, has high hopes for the season ahead.
