Alex Asamoah's 46th minutes strike earned league debutant a point against Accra Hearts Of Oak in one of the most entertaining matches of the Ghana Premier League played over the weekend.

Hearts Of Oak took the lead through an 8th minutes penalty but the veteran striker, who was adjudged man of the match, grabbed the equaliserom from close range.

The two sides shared an incredible possessions , with the heroic keeping of Phobian's Evans Gbeti and Wonders' John Moosie ensuring only two goals were conceded.

Moosie had made exceptional stops to Joseph Esso's and Salaasi  before he was finally beaten when Winful Cobbina fired high past him.

Eleven Wonders came back from recess determined to draw level as they committed more men upfront in a bid to stifle the Phobians.

The plan worked perfectly as Alex Asamoah's tapped on  sloppy defending to deny the Phobians what could have been their first win in Techiman.

Coach Henry Wellington's side  tried to regain the lead with the introduction of Cosmos Dauda but their incessant attacks did not yield results as the defense of the hosts stood resolute.
