Paris St-Germain staged a remarkable comeback against Barcelona to secure a spot in the Champions League semi-finals, with Kylian Mbappe leading the charge with a brace.

Trailing 3-2 after the first leg, PSG delivered a stunning performance to overwhelm Barcelona and secure a spot in the last four for the first time since 2021.

The match at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys started brightly for Barcelona, with Raphinha opening the scoring after a precise cross from Lamine Yamal.

However, Barcelona's hopes were dashed when defender Ronald Araujo was shown a straight red card for a foul on Bradley Barcola, leaving them with 10 men for the remaining 60 minutes.

Ousmane Dembele, facing his former club, extended PSG's advantage with a clinical finish from close range, before Vitinha added a superb strike to level the tie at 4-4 on aggregate.

Mbappe then seized the moment, converting a penalty after Dembele was fouled in the box to give PSG the lead. The French striker completed his brace with a powerful finish in the 89th minute, sealing PSG's victory in style.

The result sets up a tantalizing semi-final clash against Borussia Dortmund, who also secured their spot with a thrilling victory over Atletico Madrid.

The semi-final first legs will take place on April 30 and May 1, with the return legs scheduled for May 7 and 8.
