Defender Samuel Appiah is delighted to have joined Medeama S.C and is looking forward to the challenge of playing for the Ghana Premier League side. 

The Former Phar Rangers captain completed his transfer to the Blue and Mauve from the Division One club, in the just ended transfer window.

“I’m very excited to sign for Medeama. After the end of the season, I planned of changing club. I thank God my dream has come to pass. Playing for a club like Medeama is a big step in my career. I hope to make it count” he told FootballMadeInGhana.com

Samuel Appiah admitted that, there was tight competition for places in the starting 11 but vowed to work and give it his all to earn favor with the boss.

“I’m privy to that. Medeama has got some wonderful players. The likes of Amos Korankye are all there. I’m going to work hard and give my all so that I can impress the coach. Who knows I may get the chance to play more. The competition for places even motivate me more” he said.
