Medeama SC goalkeeper Kofi Mensah has sealed a transfer move to Ethiopian top-flight side Legetafo Legedadi.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper departed Ghana on Tuesday for Ethiopia and has now signed an initial six months loan deal with an option to make it permanent if he impresses his new side.

Legetafo Legedadi is a newly-promoted team in the Ethiopian top-flight and they are currently struggling as they languish bottom of the standings with just six points after 13 rounds.

They are keen on avoiding the drop and have been aggressively fortifying the squad in the hope avoiding relegation by the end of the campaign.

Kofi Mensah in the past played for demoted  AshantiGold SC before joining Medeama for the start of the 2022-23 season. He played 4 games, conceded 4 goals and kept one clean sheet in the season.

He previously played for Karela United, Ebusua Dwarfs, Tema Youth FC and Zambian giants Power Dynamos FC.
