Michael Okyere Baafi has sent a strong signal to potential investors in Turkey and the Turkish government that the New Juaben South Constituency is the preferred destination of accessing tourism in Africa coupled with political stability for their business operations.

The MP made this known when he paid a courtesy call on the Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, Dr. Özlem Ergűn Uluere on Thursday, April 15, 2021.

He later disclosed that his visit was aimed at securing international partnerships for the "good people of New Juaben South".

According to Mr. Okyere Baafi, he  discussed with the Ambassador about "mutual co-operation and trade facilitation" between the two stakeholders.

He revealed that they also touched on "innovative ways to harness the tourism potential of the New Juaben South Constituency."

On education, the MP disclosed, "I sort for learning opportunities in the form of scholarships and exchange programmes for students of my constituency who have continually exhibited an eagerness to expand their knowledge base."

He further revealed that the Turkish government has been supportive to the Muslim community and so he used the opportunity to request for more such efforts, especially in this period of Ramadan.

"Over the years, the Turkish Government has been key to our development efforts and have by extension generously supported our Muslim community. I commended the ambassador for their efforts and solicited for their continued support especially within this Ramadan period," said Michael Okyere Baafi.

He continued, "The New Juaben South Constituency is booming with potentials and under my leadership I intend to ensure that every constituent fully maximizes this potential; by creating Jobs, boosting the manufacturing sector and exploring innovative and entrepreneurial solutions."

He added, "I am confident that today’s visit, is that first step in what will become a long, fruitful and mutually beneficial relationship.

"God Bless our Homeland Ghana and May God Bless the good people of New Juaben South."
