In-form Legon  Cities won all  Ghana Premier League clash match against Accra Lions in the MTN  FA Cup clash at Dawu Park on Christmas day.

Maxwell Konadu's side won the game with a solitary goal coming from Rahman Abdul in the 51st minute of the second half as the first half ended barren.

Legon Cities dominated play for much of the first half but could not find the breakthrough as the first half ended goalless.

The Royals have now booked their place in the round of 32 after their win over city rivals Accra Lions.

Michelle Otou was adjudged the man of the match after his side's slender win.

In other games, lower-tier sides Hearts of Lions and Bofoakwa Tano have progressed to the round of 32 after winning against Unity Stars and Kassena Nanakana FC respectively.

Okwahu United crashed out of the MTN FA Cup after they were beaten 4-3 on penalties by Akosombo Krystal Palace after playing out a 1-1 draw during regulation time at Akotex Park.
