Former Foreign Minister Hanna Serwaa Tetteh, has indirectly replied to the accusation of Former President Rawlings of muscularly squeezing the hand of his wife, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings.

According to Madam Hanna Tetteh, contrary to the remarks of the founder of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) that she used her strong hands to squeeze the hand of his wife, She has 'soft' and 'gentle hands that are incapable of hurting anyone.

Mr. Rawlings addressing some NDC cadres and activists at a Town Hall meeting at the Arts Centre in Accra on Saturday, said he would have grabbed any chance to campaign against Hannah Tetteh who was then contesting the Awutu-Senya West constituency seat on the ticket of the NDC.

According to Mr. Rawlings, the former Foreign Affairs Minister showed disrespect to his wife, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, by squeezing her hand during a handshake at an independence anniversary parade gathering.

Such he noted, is one out of several gross disrespect exhibited by the former Foreign Affairs Minister towards her wife at high profile events.

Ms. Tetteh who is currently in Germany, was said to have granted an interview on a matter but she on Tuesday tweeted she has neither had any interview nor issued a statement on any matter in the last three days, describing such report as “fake news”.

Replying to that tweet, one user humorously asked Ms Tetteh to give him a handshake as the one given Mrs. Rawlings during the 61st independence day celebration but she responded: “You’ll find out my hands are quite soft and gentle. They always have been”.

She further said she has not broken fingers before when another user tweeted at her that he admired Ms. Tetteh’s strength in “breaking fingers”.
