The Ghana Football Coaches Association held their first ever congress at the Ghana FA secretariat on Saturday.

The congress saw scores of football trainers and stakeholders in Accra with Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks' bank roller Paa Kwesi Nduom representing as guest of honor.

Addressing the gathering, Nduom tasked clubs to up their game to help the Ghana Football Association attract sponsors. Nduom said clubs are disorganized and that is making it difficult for corporate bodies to associate themselves with the Ghana Premier League.

The list of attendees included household names like Maxwell Konadu, Richard Kingson, Mas-Ud Dramani and Abukari Damba.

Also present was Francis Oti Akenten, Sellas Tetteh, Michael Osei and Jacob Nettey

The hierarchy of the Ghana Football Coaches Association wants to hold such a programme at least twice every year.
