Coach Isaac Owusu 'Ninja' has been appointed new assistant manger of  division one  side Asokwa Deportivo  on three-year deal.

Coach Isaac Owusu, who also worked as an assistant coach of fellow division one outfit Tarkwa United two seasons back,will now assist  head coach Orlando Osumanu, as the team prepares for the 2017/18 didvision one league.

The former King Faisal and Asante Kotoko defender confirmed to ghanguardian.com about the move that has seen him make a return to the Ashanti Regional capital, where he made a claim to fame in his playing days.

"Yes I have signed 3 years Asokwa Deportivo and am happy all agreement have been finalised," he said.

"It is my aim to fight and carry the team to a higher height.I believe it is the aim of every team to get to the top and for me,qualifying to the premier league is my target."

Deportivo failed to make impact in last seasons campaign where they placed  12th out 16 teams in the Zone two of their second tier division.

Popularly known as Ninja in his playing days, Isaac Owusu's was part of the Kotoko team that made it to the CAF Cup Winners Cup in 2002,where they lost to WAC of morocco.
