The Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD) has donated Gh 50,000 to the plastic surgery and burns unit at the 37 Military Hospital.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CBOD, Senyo Hosi speaking during the donation said the gesture is corporate social responsibility from the oil distributors.

Mr Hosi added that the donation will not be the last and they intend to assist the burns unit yearly to motivate them to render unflinching service to the especially fire victims.

The head of Plastic Surgery and Burns Unit at 37 Military hospital, Commander Kwesi Nsaful speaking in his acceptance speech said they will use the money to buy equipment for surgery and the donation will benefit all burns patients at the unit.

He said it cost so much to treat burns patients and therefore called on individuals and corporate bodies to assist the Burns and Surgery Unit as part of their corporate and social responsibility.

Commander Nsaful further revealed that 6 Atomic Junction fire victims are still receiving treatment.
