The National Under-17 side, the Black Starlets, completed their final preparations on Monday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium for their second and decisive group game in the 2024 WAFU Zone B Under-17 Championship.

Following their commanding 5-1 victory over Ivory Coast in the tournament opener, the team quickly shifted focus to their next challenge against Benin.

The technical team, led by Laryea Kingston, ensured the players had a recovery session the day after their triumph, followed by a day off to rest and recuperate.

Over the weekend, the Black Starlets engaged in intense training sessions on both Saturday and Sunday.

Their preparations culminated in a focused, hour-and-a-half-long session on Monday, fine-tuning their tactics and strategy for the upcoming match.

The Black Starlets will face Benin at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Tuesday evening, aiming to replicate their strong performance and secure a positive result to advance in the championship.
