The Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram has been chosen as the venue for the upcoming 4th edition of the KGL Foundation U17 Inter-regional championships, slated to take place in July this year.

In line with tradition, the 10 Regional Football Associations (RFAs) will nominate the top U17 players from their Colts (Juvenile) competitions to represent their respective regions in this prestigious tournament.

The announcement follows the Ghana Football Association's landmark sponsorship agreement with the KGL Foundation in October 2021, valued at One million United States dollars over five years, designating them as sponsors of the Colts (Juvenile) League.

The 2023 edition of the championships was successfully hosted in Kumasi, aligning with the GFA's strategy of rotating the event across different regions to ensure regional equity and opportunity.

Over the past four years, the KGL U17 Inter-regional championships have served as a platform for identifying and nurturing exceptionally talented young players.

Many of these players have gone on to represent Ghana at various junior national team levels and have made significant contributions in domestic leagues.

Additionally, several players discovered through these championships have earned opportunities to play for foreign clubs, highlighting the tournament's role in talent development and exposure.
