Hearts of Oak defender Ruben Gnagne insists next year is the year the club ends a 10 year wait for another League title.

The Phobians last won the Ghana Premier League title in the 2008/2009 season and the defender reckons it’s about time the drought ended.

Ggagne says the club’s top priority for the upcoming season is clear, winning  GPL title for the fans.

“Our vision of going into next season is to win the Ghana Premier League. Indeed, we had good outings last season, one that got us into the final of the MTN FA Cup, which we lost to Kotoko” Gnagne said in an interview FootballMadeInGhana.com.

“Anytime you meet a supporter even on the streets all they say is that we should give them the league trophy. Some go as far as saying they don’t want any other trophy; that will be the top most priority going into the new season”.

“Indeed, any other trophy that comes our way like the FA Cup, Presidents Cup, G-8 among others, we will do our best to win them as well” he added.
