Ghana's second lady Samira Bawumia has been named along with Berla Mundi, Nana Aba Anamoah, Zanetor Rawlings and her mother Nana Konadu are among Ghana’s Most Influential Women for the year 2017.

WomanRising, a flagship network of The African Network of Entrepreneurs (TANOE)  has announced its annual list of Ghana’s Most Influential Women for the year 2017.

Curated by TANOE Research, the list was instituted to celebrate and acknowledge women who are breaking grounds, blazing trails, shattering glass ceilings and taking tougher roles.

It also seeks to continually spotlight outstanding and positively influential Ghanaian women, and also empower girls and women.

It cuts across 10 sectors including Media, Politics, Business, Religion, Academia, Music, Film, Health, Fashion and Leadership.
