Controversial Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale is set to be invited by the Ghana Police Service following his threat to burn down some churches in December.
The newly signed Zylofon Media artiste made the comments after a pastor is alleged to have prophesied that he will be the next big Ghanaian artiste to die after popular artiste Ebony.
According to the Dancehall sensation, he will burn down churches belonging to Pastors and self-acclaimed Prophets who have predicted that he will die before December 2018.
Shatta added that only the President will be able to stop him from carrying out his threat.
“Make nobody try show me God because me I know God, make nobody try show me the Bible inside because me I know the Bible inside. If we catch December and I am giving this long notice…if we get to December and I dey, me and the Shatta Movement, unless the President come beg me, we go burn churches for Ghana,”
A Kumasi-based Prophet E. K. Mensah of the Christ Vision Prayer Ministry has allegedly revealed to his followers that Shatta Wale has been marked to kick the bucket in December unless he repents from his sinful ways.
Police are yet to comment officially on the arrest.
