The recent spate of prophesies with regards to the unfortunate death of female dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns have sparked series of debate among the Ghanaian populace.
Prophet Akwasi Boateng of the Assemblies of God Church, Revival Restoration Centre, Roman Ridge, Accra has cautioned his fellow prophets to be very circumspect in their dealings with the spiritual activities of God.
He disclosed that some men of God in their quest to take God’s glory and be popular are ridiculing God.
Speaking with Kojo Preko Dankwa on K-Entertainment on Kasapa 102.5FM, the Assemblies of God Prophet who seemed disappointed on why some prophets are pointing accusing fingers at those they claimed killed the talented dancehall artiste.
With reference from the Bible, Ephesians Chapter four verse eleven (Ephesians 4:11), Prophet Boateng said the five fold ministries were given by God to edify and protect the church.
According to him, God is not a God of confusion to enter into a family and create uncertainty among members.
“When you read Ephesians 4:11, it talks about the gifting that God gave to the church… Some were Prophets, Teachers, Apostles, Reverends etc. God gave us these five-fold ministries to edify, equip and protect the individuals in the church. God isn’t a God of confusion. I heard a Man of God saying Ebony was killed by her Aunty.
“Why do some men of God joke with God. God will never enter a family and create confusion in the family so stop that nonsense. We’ve sat down for Men of God to use the name of God and making a lot mockery and people are ridiculing God.” Prophet Akwasi Boateng told Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa 102.5FM.
Quoting Acts chapter ten verse thirty-eight (Acts 10:38), Prophet Akwasi Boateng elaborated that the Son of God was anointed by His father to go about doing good and not bad.
He admonished that whatever word that comes out from the mouth of any Men of God must guide and not to destroy.
