Popular TV and radio personality, Patrick Osei Agyeman, better known as Countryman Songo has finally reacted to the death of his 'baby girl' Ebony Reigns.
According to him, Ebony was his baby girl and he was her baby boy. He added that he was always happy whenever he saw her because of the many hearty moments the two of them enjoyed all the time.
In recounting happenings on the fateful Friday morning, Countryman Songo said he woke up around 4:30 AM and called Ebony on phone but there was no response and Ebony did not return the call like she would normally have.
The “Fire for Fire” show host revealed that shortly after this unusual incident, calls started coming in to inform him about the untimely demise of Ebony.
He said one caller who phoned him said, “Your baby girl is gone; Ebony is dead”. The TV show host said he could not listen any further and just hang up the phone.
Fearing for what might be the cause of his unanswered calls, he decided to call Ebony’s phone again and there was still no response.
The award-winning journalist then knew that the news that he received was true and that the “Poison” song maker was no more.
He said people had spoken all manner of ill things about the dancehall queen so now that she was gone, there was nothing more to say.
Countryman Songo also went ahead to chide all the prophets who wanted to use the demise of the talented musician to attract attention to themselves.
Born Priscilla Opoku Kwartebg was a Ghanaian dancehall artiste. She met her untiremily death Thursday night upon her return from Brong Ahafo Regional capital Sunyani, where she had been to visit her mother.
