Swansea striker Jordan Ayew is content with his side’s 0-0 draw against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

The point means Paul Clement’s men have ended a nightmare run of 5 games in all competition without securing a single point.

The Ghana International sees the result as catalyst on which the Swans can build on to rejuvenate their season.

“We feel we should have three points, but at least we have one and we didn’t lose the game,” Ayew stated after the game

“We tried our best to win but when things are not going your way, it sometimes doesn’t happen.

“But we played some good football and that is something we can build on.

“I think it was our best performance of the season – the gaffer said that. It’s something to build on and hopefully, we can take into in the next games.

“We have set the standard now. We have to stay at this level and not drop below it.” he added.

Swansea are currently lying in 19th place on the league standings after 13 games played with 9 points.
