Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has showered praise on his Arsenal teammates following their remarkable triumph against Chelsea in the English Premier League on Tuesday night.

Partey, making his first Premier League start since returning from injury, played a crucial role as the Gunners secured a resounding 5-0 victory over the Blues, propelling them three points clear at the summit of the table.

In a dominant display, Ben White and Kai Havertz each notched a brace in the second half to complement Leandro Trossard's early strike.

Reflecting on the match, Partey expressed satisfaction with the team's approach, highlighting their commitment from the outset.

"It was a very good game. We went all out from the beginning because we knew how important this game was. If we don’t approach it right, we are not able to win. But we did everything right, and I’m really proud of the squad," remarked Partey post-match.

The former Atletico Madrid midfielder also singled out German forward Kai Havertz for special commendation, acknowledging his outstanding performance.

“He’s a great player, he’s working a lot, and you can see the work he’s doing. He deserves everything that comes along. I hope he can continue like that and finish the season strongly," added Partey.

With Arsenal set to face Tottenham Hotspur in the highly-anticipated North London derby on Sunday, Partey is poised to play a key role as the Gunners aim to maintain their momentum in the league.
