The Coalition of Unemployed Nurses has given government a five-day ultimatum to post them to various health facilities.

The health practitioners from the private nursing institutions described government’s treatment against them as discriminatory and that they cannot fathom why priority was given to bonded nurses.

As a result, they have given the government five days to get them also posted, failure to will culminate in massive anti-government protests.

Addressing a press conference in Accra yesterday, the Public Relations Officer for the group, Doreen Boateng, served notice that they were fed up with the inhumane treatment meted to them.

“So we are giving the government of Ghana, His Excellency [President Akufo-Addo] five working days to be posted otherwise there will be a nationwide picketing that was never experienced in the country,” she declared.
