Ghana target Eddie Nketiah was on target for Arsenal in their final pre-season game on Saturday against Sevilla in the Emirates Cup.

It was a glut of goals for the North London club who have blown away teams easily with new boy Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah, and Gabriel Martinelli in good form.

Bukayo Saka gave the Gunners the lead from the penalty spot 10 minutes after being shoved in the back by Karim Rekik.

Gabriel Jesus then got in on the act with a quick fire brace, first pouncing on a spill from keeper Bono following a Xhaka cutback and then sliding home a Martinelli cross.

Before the midway point of the first half, things went from bad to worse for Sevilla’s keeper who made a hash of a pass out from the back and then suffered the ignominy of Saka putting the ball through his legs the first time.

At the other end, Xhaka picked out with a looping pass from Partey, volleyed just over and Martinelli continued to be a menace.

Arsenal was well on top by the time they added a fifth, Jesus rounding off his hat-trick by clipping home from close range after a half-cleared corner fell to him.

Eddie Nketiah rounded off the scoring in the closing moments. Arsenal's number 14 tapped into an empty net having been set up by Martinelli who had sprung the offside trap thanks to a fine pass by Xhaka.
