Ghanaian youngster Joseph Amoako scored his first goal for his Swedish side Helsingborg IF in a friendly game on Saturday against Halmstad's BK.

The 19 year old on loan Kotoko forward came off the bench and slotted home the third goal to make it 3-0 in an emphatic win.

Amoako cut inside from the left flank and beat off some two defenders before placing the ball at the near side of the goal keeper to make it 3-0.

He has been very impressive since joining the Swedish side on loan from Asante Kotoko in the winter transfer window during pre-season for his side.

He made his bow in the friendly match against Danish side FC Nordsjaelland in the 78th minute as his side lost 4-2.

There is an option to buy the youngster by the Swedish club after the expiration of his loan spell.

His compatriot Benjamin Acquah was also in action for Helsingborgs IF.
